Essentially, this plan will allow Pearson Lane to be reconstructed by Tarrant County, using hot mix asphalt from FM 1709 north to Spanish Trail, through both of our cities. Initially, Keller will reimburse Tarrant County for the cost of the materials. Southlake will reimburse Keller $5,000.00 when the work is completed, $10,000.00 on January 1, 1989 and $15,000.00 on July 1, 1989. The cost to Southlake of $30,000.00 will be approximately 50% of the cost of the materials needed to rebuild the 5,300 feet of Pearson Lane within Southlake. The other 50% of the cost to rebuild Southlake's portion of Pearson Lane will be borne by the City of Keller's Utility Fund, due to damage to the roadway while constructing Keller's new transmission main. I believe that both cities will need to approve an interlocal agreement for Tarrant County to perform the work. Tarrant County must get immediate approval to proceed for them to fit this project into an already crowded work schedule. Your attention to this matter will be greatly appreciated!
