1987-066RESOLUTION NO. 87-66 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas, have been working closely with the City of Grapevine in an effort to explore the possibilities of a joint wastewater treatment facility; and, WHEREAS, on August 4,1987, Southlake City Staff members met with the City Staff of the City of Grapevine and Mr. Wayne Hunter of the Trinity River Authority (TRA), concerning the possibi- lity of exploring the technicalities ass- ociated with possible use of a portion of the Grapevine Peach Street sewer treatment plant; now, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT: The problems immediately identified prompted a feasibility study. The study is to be shared in cost by both cities with Southlake's approximate cost being from $7,600. to 10,000. The City Manager is authorized to spend an amount not to exceed $10,000. for a joint feasibility study for Wastewater treatment between City of Grapevine and the City of Southlake. The $10,000 is SOa of the cost of the study and will be done out of revenue funds. The study is to be done by Freese and Nichols and will take approximately three (3) weeks.
