1987-019RESOLUTION 87-19 WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Southlake, Texas, to have a City Park; and, WHEREAS, in FY87 Budget, several Capital Expenditure Projects were planned for improving Bicentennial Park; and, WHEREAS, irrigation, sodding and hydromulch are amoung the planned improvements; now, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT: 1. After reviewing bids, it was voted upon by the City Council at the regular City Council meeting on March 3, 1987, that low bidder, Taylor Landscape and Lawn Sprinkler Company be awarded the contract for a total cost of $33,465.75 for irrigation and sodding at Bicentennial Park. 2. That authority be given to Mayor Lloyd 0. Latta Jr., to sign any change order needed, not to exceed $10,000, to expedite the work in an effort to meet the starting date of April 6,1987, when ball season begins.
