1987-017RESOLUTION 87-17 WHEREAS, the City of Southlake deems it necessary for the purpose of promoting the Health, Safety, Morals, and General Welfare of the City of Southlake citizens to have a Zoning Ordinance; and, WHEREAS, on August 19,1986, a new Zoning Ordinance was approved by the City Council of the City of Southlake, to be known as Ordinance No. 334; now; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT: Section 11.1 of the Zoning Ordinance No. 334 states that an administrative official shall be designated by the City Council and he shall administer and enforce the ordinance. If the administrative official shall find that any of the provisions of this ordinance are being violated, he shall notify in writing the person, according to the City's records, who owns the tract of land, upon which the use is located, indicating the nature of the violation and ordering the action necessary to correct it. He shall order discontinuance of illegal use of land, buildings, or structures; removal of illegal buildings or structures or of illegal additions, alterations or structural changes, dis- continuance of any illegal work being done; or shall take any other action authorized by this ordinance to ensure compliance with or to prevent violation of its provisions. We, the City Council of the City of Southlake, hereby appoint William D. LeGrand', Director of Public Works to serve as the Administrative and Enforcement Official for the Zoning Ordinance No. 334.
