Item 4O Consider a Neighborhood 50/50 Sidewalk Program Application Request. Item 4O n accordance with the City of Southlake Sidewalk Plan, adopted by the City of Southlake City Council, November 6, 2007, residents can formally request the City to participated in up to 50% of the cost of designing and constructing sidewalks within their neighborhoods.  Neighborhood organizations and Home Owners Associations are encouraged to apply for funds to build a sidewalk project they feel would make a difference in improving the safety of their neighborhoods or provide critical connections to schools, parks, or other sidewalks. LOCATION: Carroll Avenue and Westmont Drive Application Request 3 Proposed Sidewalk Exhibit Approximately 200 LF on south side and 120 LF on north side or1,920 SF of sidewalk. The project will also include resodding in disturbed areas, modification of two wheelchair ramps, installation of a crosswalk, island nose reduction of the west side and relocation of existing street light pole on south side. Modifications are to ensure ADA compliance. Total cost estimated for project is $8,755.20 which includes Oak Tree Estates will disable and re-install existing irrigation.
