1. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Wasserman called the meeting of the Parks and Recreation Board to order at
6:04 p.m.
2. CONSENT AGENDA
Consent Agenda items are considered to be routine by the Board and are enacted with
one motion.
2A. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE MARCH 23, 2015 REGULAR PARKS AND
RECREATION BOARD MEETING.
There were no corrections to the March 23, 2015 Park Board meeting minutes.
2B. ABSENCE OF PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD MEMBERS
The Board considered the absence of Park Board members Mitch Hill and Jeff Medici
from the March 23, 2015 meeting.

A motion was made to approve the Consent Agenda as presented including approval of
the minutes of the March 23, 2015 regular meeting and absence of board members Hill
and Medici.

3A CONSIDER:
3A. RECOMMENDATION ON FACILITIES UTILIZATION AGREEMENT WITH MIRACLE
LEAGUE OF SOUTHLAKE
Deputy Director Kate Meacham presented the two-year Facilities Utilization Agreement
(FUA) with Miracle League of Southlake for use of the Texas Rangers Miracle League
Field in Bicentennial Park and responded to questions. The FUA contains the same
standard provisions and regulations as FUA's the City has in force with all other youth
athletic associations with the exception that City Council approved waving of the
resident field maintenance fees for Miracle League Southlake teams at their April 16,
2013 meeting. City Council will consider the proposed FUA at their April 21, 2015
meeting.
Andi Stone, Miracle League of Southlake Executive Director, 2839 Raintree Drive,
Southlake, was present in support of the Agreement.

Chairman Wasserman acknowledged public forum. There being no one to speak,

5A. SOUTHLAKE YOUTH ATHLETIC ASSOCIATIONS REPORTS
Deputy Director Kate Meacham presented the youth athletic associations Dashboard
statistics reports by association and responded to Board questions.

513. CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT REPORT
Director of Community Services Chris Tribble presented the monthly Construction
Management Report and responded to questions about progress on Bicentennial Park
Phase II and The Marq-Southlake.
