Item 4B Department of Planning & Development Services S T A F F R E P O R T May 27, 2015 CASE NO:ZA14-042 PROJECT:Plat Extension for the Plat Revision for Gateway Lakes EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: G&A Consultants, LLC is requesting approval of a Plat Extension for the Plat Revision of Gateway Lakes located at 700, 890, 1000 and 1030 N. Kimball Avenue and 2000 E. Kirkwood Boulevard. SPIN Neighborhood #4 DETAILS: G&A Consultants, LLC is requesting approval of a Plat Extension of the the validity of the Plat Revision for Gateway Lakes, a development of thirty-nine (39) residential lots, one (1) open space lot, to be dedicated as a public park to the City, and one (1) commercial lot to be developed in the future. The Plat Revision was approved by the City Council on June 17, 2014. A Plat Revision (Final Plat) which has not been recorded in the County Plat Records within one year of the date of approval shall expire. Therefore, the applicant is requesting to extend the date of expiration on the Final Plat for one additional year until June 17, 2016. If approved by City Council at their June 2, 2015 meeting, the plat will expire on June 17, 2016. All other plats: A Final Plat, Plat Revision, Amended Plat or a Plat Showing which has not been recorded in the County Plat Records within one year of the date of approval shall expire. 3. Extensions: The City Council may extend the expiration date of an approved plat upon written petition for such extension by the owner prior to the expiration of the plat but not to exceed one (1) year.
