Item 6H Specific Use Permit for Temporary Construction Trailers Verizon Wireless ZA15-009 1 ZA15-009 Applicant: Verizon Wireless Request: Approval of a Specific Use Permit for two temporary construction trailers at Verizon Wireless until December 31, 2017 Location: 500 West Dove Road Verizon Wireless is requesting approval of a Specific Use Permit (SUP) for two temporary construction trailers at Verizon Wireless. An SUP for a temporary construction trailer that was located at the northwest corner of Dove Rd. and Kirkwood Blvd. expired recently and that trailer has been removed from the property. Due to ongoing construction projects, Verizon Wireless is requesting to locate two approximately 1,344 square foot temporary construction trailers on the site until December 31, 2017. The proposed location of the trailers is to the north of the existing Verizon building. 2 The land use designation is mixed use. 3 Zoning is NRPUD 4 Aerial View Proposed Trailer Locations Previous Trailer Location This is an aerial showing the proposed location of the trailers. Previous trailer was at the corner of Dove and Kirkwood. The trailers are 56’ x 24’ (1,44 sf) 5 Proposed Screening This is an exhibit provided by the applicant which has been provided to City Council. The exhibit indicates a plan view and section elevation with landscaping. The species indicated on the exhibit are to be planted in addition to the existing vegetation. 7 Trailer Exhibits This is the exhibit provided by the applicant. 8 Trailer Exhibits 9 Variance Request Zoning Ordinance No. 480, Section 45.18, as amended, requires that temporary facilities provide foundation landscape planting consisting of one (1) five-gallon shrub per four (4) linear feet around skirting (excluding entrances).
