SUMMARY: Change in the Ordinance will remove the commercial schools, including trade schools, as a permitted use by right from the “I-1” Light Industrial and “I-2” Heavy Industrial districts. Amendment will require the commercial schools to apply for a Specific Use Permit within these districts in Section 45 of the Zoning Ordinance. A map was presented with the locations of the “I-1” and “I-2” districts and the “SP-1” and “SP-1” districts with “I-1” and “I-2” uses.
