FORUM SUMMARY
Property Situation:
250 Countryside Ct. Southlake, Texas, 76092
Development Details:
Proposed 40,000 square foot Worship Center
The current sanctuary is to the north of the proposed location close to SH 114. The
proposed new 40,000 square foot Worship Center will face inward to the other part of
the campus for traffic to move around the campus more easily. The proposed Center will
allow for the church to move from the three services currently held, back to two services.
Presenter mentioned the Worship Center project is anticipated to be completed by 2016.
Presenter mentioned that the interior floorplan presented will contain around 1150 seats.
There will be a nursery space, as well as a foyer in the front of the building and the rear
of the building will feature a choir room. The presenter showed a concept of the exterior
of the building (facing into the campus) and referred to it as a Romanesque type of
building.
Presented at SPIN:
QUESTIONS / CONCERNS:
Will the new church allow for more horse trails?
No, there is not a space from a liability standpoint and from a usability standpoint
o
for a horse trail through the campus
Have you looked at donating 10 feet of land to the City so you do not have the liability on
you?
No, have not because all space is being used
o
Why can there be no compromise relative to this area for trails?
Have looked at the issue, but the area of focus is a drainage area with significant
o
slope so have not found an area where this would work
