The Final Plat was approved by the Planning & Zoning Commission on April 17, 2014. Final plats for subdivisions requiring the installation of streets and utilities are typically not recorded until these improvements have been installed and are ready to be accepted by the City. This ensures that street right-of-ways and easements are correctly shown based on as-built conditions and also ensures that all the new lots of record are properly served by streets and utilities. The final plat for this development has not been recorded due to continuing construction of the development and has thus expired. 6 The applicant is requesting an extension of eleven months from date of the original plat expiration date. If approved, the new expiration date for the Final Plat for Shady Oaks, Phase IV will be March 17, 2016.
