and incorporated herein. Executive Session may be held under these
exceptions, at the end of the Reaular Session or at anv time durina the
meeting -that a need arises for the Plannin-q and Zonin-q Commission to
seek advice from the City Attorney as to the posted sub'ect matter of this
Plannina and Zoning Commission meeting. Section 551.071: Consultation

Texas. Current Zoning: "SF -20A" Single Family Residential District. SPIN

Daniel Cortez, Principal Planner presented Item No. 5, ZA15-009.
David Null, 500 West Dove Rd, Southlake and Tonya McManaman, 500 West Dove Rd,
Southlake came forward.
Mr. Null gave a brief explanation for the trailer and a brief presentation showing
screening and landscaping.
Commissioner Kubiak asked for additional information regarding the interior renovation
that will be going on and the timeframe.
Mr. Null stated that the UPS systems will be upgraded that feeds the entire Verizon
network. Full network upgrades and to get ready for future growths.
Ms. McManaman stated that Verizon combined several upgrades together that will
make this project ongoing for the time period allotted.
Commissioner Forman asked about the timeline for the parking lot in the front and the
storage area in the back.
Ms. McManaman stated that the parking lot is in the building department for review now
and is out for bid.

Vice Chairman Parrish opened the public hearing.
Doug Harsy, 2804 Tyler Street came forward in support of the project.
Vice Chairman Parrish closed the public hearing.
Commissioner Springer suggested that Verizon should create a permanent construction
office due to the many years of upgrades to come.
Motion to approve ZA15-009 subject to Staff Report dated March 13, 2015 and
further subject to the Verizon presentation dated March 19, 2015 and specifically
noting and approving the variance request as to zoning ordinance 480, section
45.18 and also noting the applicants agreement that neither building will be
placed or encroach upon existing easements in the area.
