Re: Development Plan for Shady Lane
Dear Sir,
My name is Kayle Green and I have been a resident of Southlake, Texas, since 2005. I am writing to
express my genuine interest in and support of the pending Development Plan for Shady Lane.
My strong support of the neighborhood development is a function of following two key factors: (i) the
revised proposal for development appears quite consistent with the spirit of the Southlake 2030
Consolidated Future Land Use Plan and its emphasis on sidewalks, green zones, tree preservation, and
protection of the natural environment and (ii) the Shady Lane plat /plan, in combination with Mr.
Maykus's custom build approach, will yield a gorgeous development that will compare quite favorably to
many of the less attractive tract developments already approved and currently under construction.
I have not met Mr. Maykus, but I am quite familiar with his work product and reputation as a successful
custom developer and builder throughout Southlake and the surrounding areas. As such, I ask that you
strongly consider the aforementioned attributes and recommend the plan for approval. Thank you for
serving our community and for your consideration.
Kind Regards,
Kayle Green
