I am a member of the ShadyLn neighborhood. I use ShadyLn as the onlyaccess to my home. I am opposed to any change to the current SF- 1Amning of the property in question. I bought into this neighborhood in 1978. This neighborhood has always been Zoned Agriculture or SF-1A Even today people are buying residences here, expecting the Zoning to remain unchanged. The property in question will sell, with the existing Zoning when the Selling price and the Market price reach equilibrium. Then development will be made in compliance with the SF-1A Zoning. (I have never seen them dry or drop over 2 feet even in 1981 when Grapevine dropped 13 feet.) If the ponds are filled and built on in a few years when they settle and the builder is gone who is Liable? I don't want the City responsible because the City allowed building permits.
