1. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Wasserman called the meeting of the Parks and Recreation Board to order at
6:05 p.m.
2. CONSENT AGENDA
Consent Agenda items are considered to be routine by the Board and are enacted with
one motion.
2A. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE NOVEMBER 10, 2014 REGULAR PARKS AND
RECREATION BOARD MEETING.
There were no corrections to the November 10, 2014 Park Board meeting minutes.
2B. ABSENCE OF PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD MEMBERS
The Board considered the absence of Park Board member Mitch Hill from the
November 10, 2014 meeting.
APPROVED
A motion was made to approve the Consent Agenda as presented including approval of
the minutes of the November 10, 2014 regular meeting and absences of board member
Hill.

3. CONSIDER — There were no consider items for this meeting.
4. PUBLIC FORUM
Chairman Wasserman acknowledged public forum. There being no one to speak,
Chairman Wasserman continued to the next agenda item.
5. DISCUSSION:
5A. SOUTHLAKE YOUTH AHLETIC ASSOCIATIONS REPORT FOLLOW -UP
Director Tribble presented a revised report for Southlake Carroll Lacrosse participation
statistics as requested at the November Park Board meeting and was available to
respond to questions.
5B. PARK USE POLICY
Director Tribble presented a brief presentation on the process to revise and update the
Park Use Policy during this fiscal year. Areas of the Policy to be addressed include:
Definitions, Field /Court Rentals, Special Events, Tournaments, Vendors, Pavilions,
Sponsorships, Rustin Pavilion Use, Canopies/Tents, Overnight Park Use, Insurance
Requirements, Park Rules, Equestrian Trails, Bob Jones Nature Center & Preserve
Use, Variances and Forms. Park Board will provide feedback and recommendations as
revisions to sections of the Policy are developed, prior to City Council consideration of a
final document later this year. Director Tribble was available to answer questions of the
Board.
5C. CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT REPORT
Director Tribble presented the monthly Construction Management Report and was
available to respond to questions from the Board about progress on Bicentennial Park
Phase 11 and The Marq - Southlake.
6. ADJOURNEMENT

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting at 6:48 p.m.
