CALL TO ORDER Staff Liaison, Ashley Newhart, called the meeting of the Southlake Youth Action Commission to order at 4:20pm. 2. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE NOVEMBER 19, 2014 SOUTHLAKE YOUTH ACTION COMMISSION. There were no corrections made to the minutes. APPROVED A motion was made to accept the minutes of the November 19, 2014 meeting as presented. DISCUSSION - HOLIDAY SERVICE PROJECTS 3A. Confirmed holiday service project for Mission Arlington on December 19 from 2:00 — 8:OOp.m. 4. DISCUSSION — CITY IMPROVEMENTS 4A. Bike racks on trail systems — similar to Fort Worth and Dallas 4B. Improving the Traffic Light Timing at the Carroll Senior High. Many students are running the red lights and sitting in the middle of the intersection. Many students are also cutting through the 7 eleven parking lot to skip the left turn at the light. 4C. Members would like to find a better location to "hangout ". Ideas included a "coffee shop" similar to Redefined in Grapevine, a large dim lit space for studying but also enjoying friend's company. A smaller bowling alley, not so main stream and large as main event, was also requested. 5. CONSIDER — There were no items to consider. 6.
