1. CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Katie Pearson called the meeting of the Southlake Youth Action
Commission to order at 4:12pm.
2. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE NOVEMBER 5, 2014 SOUTHLAKE
YOUTH ACTION COMMISSION.
There were no corrections made to the minutes.

A motion was made to accept the minutes of the November 5, 2014 meeting as
presented.

3. GUEST SPEAKER — LAURA HILL
Laura Hill gave a brief summary of her background. She discussed issues that
she believed were important and beneficial for the City of Southlake. She gave
details about the upcoming election regarding the Southlake Marg. She also
urged SYAC to bring forth suggestions to her and City Council for consideration.
4. DISCUSSION - HOLIDAY SERVICE PROJECTS
SYAC discussed ideas for service projects, such as care packages for soldiers or
food drive within city hall.
SYAC also discussed initiative ideas to bring forth to Council.
6. CONSIDER — There were no items to consider.
7. ADJOURNMENT
APPROVED
A motion was made and unanimously approved to adjourn the meeting at 5:05
p.m.
