Hello everyone,
As you know, we are scheduled for tomorrow's Council Meeting; this will be the 1 of two
readings of our case. Late last week we learned that a number of people continue to oppose our
case, and that new letters /emails of opposition have been submitted.
Whether this development is able to move forward with the proposed plan appears to be in the
neighborhood's hands... We've previously made very significant modifications to the original
plan (see forwarded email below). We then addressed a number of additional concerns and
stipulated the following:
• Limit the medical use to the front two buildings
• Provide all evergreen trees along the perimeter
• Limit hours of operation (no 24 -hr medical use)
• Provide motion sensors on site (pole) lighting
• Limit pharmacy use to "compounding pharmacy" wino drive -thru
At the P &Z meeting we learned that some of the neighboring property owners continue to feel
strongly about the amount of medical use and the hours of operation. Specifically we've been
requested to limit medical to 25% (in -lieu of 50 %) and stipulate hours of operation be limited
to Monday thru Friday.
A professional office use may include lawyers, real estate agents and /or accountants which may
wish to conduct some business on a Saturday morning; and we therefore are not comfortable
recommending further limitations to the hours of operation. However, and to address continued
concerns, and hopefully gain your support, we are prepared to stipulate the following:
• Remove Dialysis and Imaging from the approved Uses list — the two higher traffic uses
In closing, we would very much appreciate your support of this version of the project; and feel
we've made numerous and significant concessions. Please also consider that erecting these
buildings will reduce the traffic noise from Southlake Boulevard.
