1. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Bartlett called the meeting of the Southlake Arts Council to order at
6:01 p.m.
2. CONSENT AGENDA
Consent Agenda items are considered to be routine by the Southlake Arts
Council and are enacted with one motion. Chair Bartlett read the consent agenda
item for the record.
2A. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE JULY 29, 2014 SOUTHLAKE

3. CONSIDER
3A. RECOMMENDATION ON PERMIT TO ALLOW THE SISTER CITIES
INTERNATIONAL YOUNG ARTISTS AND AUTHORS SHOWCASE EXHIBIT
JANUARY 12, 2015 THROUGH FEBRUARY 16, 2015 IN SOUTHLAKE TOWN
HALL LOBBY
Director Tribble presented the permit from Southlake Sister Cities to host the
Sister Cities International Young Artists and Authors Showcase in the Town Hall
lobby from January— February 2015. The Arts Council discussed the permit and
recommended changing the dates of the exhibit from January 12, 2015 through
February 16, 2015 to January 6, 2015 through February 6, 2015 to accommodate
another City event scheduled the weekend of February 16.

A motion was made to recommend City Council approve the permit from
Southlake Sister Cities for the exhibit January 6, 2015 through February 6, 2015.

4. DISCUSSION
4A. "A CELEBRATION OF ARTS AND SPORTS" RECEPTION AND EXHIBIT
SEPTEMBER 7, 2014
Director Tribble led the discussion concerning the September 7, 2014 reception
and exhibit. The Southlake Arts Council discussed the reception and exhibit and
confirmed assignments and details.
4B. FUTURE PUBLIC ART OPPORTUNITIES
This item will be discussed at the next meeting.
5. PUBLIC FORUM
No one was present to address the Arts Council during Public Forum.
