RESOLUTION NO. 89-48
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, APPOINTING A NEW M~qBER
TO THE SOUTHIAKE PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD.
pROIqDING AN E~'~'E~IVE DATE.
WHEREAS, a Parks and Recreation Board was created for the purpose of
Planning and Developing Parks and Park sites within the City of
Southlake, for the use and benefit of its citizens; and,
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Board shall consist of nin~ (9)
members, to serve staggered terms; and,
WHEREAS, currently, there is a position that is vacant; now,
THERt~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUI~{LAKE,
Section 1. That all the above premises are found to be true and
correct and are incorporated into the body of this Resolution as if
copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That ~e City Council hereby appointed t~ichard Lantz, to
fill the unexpired term of Tom Walker, which is to expire in January,
1990.
Section 3. That the City Council appointment is to be effective on the
day of approval of this resolution.
