RESOLUTION NO. 89-35
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTHIAK~, TEXAS, APPOINTMENT TO
THE PARK AND RECREATION BOARD. PROVID-
ING AN E~'FE~IVE DATE.
WHERE,% the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas deems
it to be in the best interest , health, and wefare of its citizens to
plan and develop city parks and park sites; and,
~{EREAS, the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas
desires to coordinate such planning and developing under a Parks and
Recreation Board; nc~,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ~ CITY OF
SOUTHkAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. That all the findings in the preamble are found to be true
and correct and the City Council does hereby incorporate said findings
into the body of this resolution as if copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That currently there is one vacancy on the Park and
Recreation Board with a term to expire in January 1992.
Section 3. That Rick Roberts is hereby appointed to serve
on the Park and Recreation Board for a term to expire in January, 1992.
Section 4. That this resolution shall becc~e effective after its
passage and adoption by the City Council.
