Our primary reason foroppusitlon is safety. Individr,a!s on eampus that are not there for school business should not be welcomed. The
elementary students should not be comfortable w th strangers on campus & Carroll 1513 & the City of South lake should no create
opporunity to allovi easy access to our youngest students. The "walking" students are not always well accounted for when going to & Frum
campus; the bin creates additiurlal risk &. opportunity for our students to became victims.
This property also welcomes unsucervlsed tirr:e for teens & tweer.s. There was a fire irr the dumpster last year that put this oroperty &
school at risk as well asthe individuals who started it.
Another concern is the management of the dnnatlon bin. overflow of the bin can allow unwanted weather elements on donated items &
create mold, unwelcomad critters & dumpster divers. The management of this should not he a burden to our school adminis.ration.
We value the iriterition for the dnnation bin; howuvcr, we feel that this location is not appropriate for ,ofe-y reasons. Our rurnrr•enity does
have amble opportunity to donate unwanted items, a few nearby locations are Gace in Grapevine as well as Good Will in Colleyville &
Keller. Our community often gets solicitations via mail or phone to leave donated items at their doorstop & iterns are picked up on specific
dates &. times that can be managed by homeowner.
Yourconsiceration or our opposMon is appreciated & we ask that you keep in mind the safety of our students when doing so, thank you.
