Dear Council
My only concem with this proposal is the green space and creeks north of 114 and behind the filling stations on
either side of Kimball. I have walked this creek from 114 all the way to where it passes under shady lane. It is
embarrassing to say the least. It could hold its own against some third world countries. The amount of garbage
and trash from the commercial businesses and new construction has made this almost impossible for myself
personally to handle. I have talked with public works and the environment group there. There doesn't seem to be a
solid solution. They did tell me however there is system for catchment that is being integrated into bicentennial
park that sounds promising.
This winter I collected the 50 gallon black trash bags full of debris. If the council has any solution besides a
single homeowner tackling this problem it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
