SPIN #3 DETAILS: The owners, Richard Bollar and Leesa Stephens, are requesting approval for a Solar Energy System consisting of 24 solar energy panels oriented south on a south roof approximately 421 square feet in area and 44 solar energy panels oriented west approximately 772 square feet in area. The residence is located on the southwest corner of a private drive off East Dove Road. The solar panels are proposed to be installed on two roof areas of the existing residence on the property. Both solar panel areas are combined to form a 17,000 kW photovoltaic system. Specifications of the photovoltaic panels have been provided under Attachment "C" of the staff report. The residents state that the designed system is projected to produce 90% of the residents' electricity requirement and will reduce the environmental impact due to grid electricity production of 35,000 pounds of carbon per year. Attachment E Page 4 RESOLUTION NO. 13-043 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, GRANTING A SPECIFIC USE PERMIT FOR A SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEM ON RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, LOCATED AT 551 EAST DOVE ROAD, BEING DESCRIBED AS LOT 3R3, BLOCK 1, STEWART ADDITION AS DEPICTED ON THE APPROVED SITE EXHIBIT ATTACHED HERETO AND INCORPORATED HEREIN AS EXHIBIT "A" AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
