SUBJECT: Approve Carillon Phase 5 Park Plan
Action Requested: City Council approval of the park plan for Corporate Park
and Lake Carillon Park located within the Carillon
development.
Background
Information: On August 9, 2010, the Parks and Recreation Board
reviewed and recommended the acceptance of 50.15 acres
of park land as proposed by the developer for the Carillon
development.
The proposed park plans are consistent with the conceptual
plans previously reviewed and approved by Council when
the 380 Agreement for Carillon was approved.
The developer has been working on the detailed site plan
and civil engineering plans and is preparing to move forward
with the construction of Phase 5 of the development which
includes Corporate Park and Lake Carillon Park.
The park plan is submitted for the City Council's review and
approval prior to Hines moving forward with construction of
the parks.

Considerations: Not applicable

Board Review: The park concepts were previously reviewed and
recommended by the Parks and Recreation Board when it
recommended acceptance of the park land.

The City Council previously reviewed and approved the park
concepts as part of its approval of the Carillon 380
Agreement.
The Parks and Recreation Board recommended approval (5-
0) of the currently park plans at their October 14, 2013
meeting.
