ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY INTO THE
CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, AND EXTENDING
THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF SAID CITY SO AS TO INCLUDE SAID
HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY LIMITS;
GRANTING TO ALL THE INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF
THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING
SAID INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS, ORDINANCES,
RESOLgTIONS AND REGULATIONS OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING
ZONING DISTRICTS FOR SUCH TERRITORY PROVIDING A SAVINGS
CLAUSE AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS an application and request has been made by the
owners of the following described property, who are citizens of
the State of Texas and inhabitants of the following described
property, to-wit:
WHEREAS, BEING a tract of land in Tarrant County in the
Benjamin J. Foster Survey Abstract Number 519, Tarrant
County, Texas and being more particularly described as
follows: Ail that certain 26.603 acre tract or parcel of
land situated in the Benjamin J. Foster Survey, Abstract
Number 519, Tarrant County, Texas; said tract being shown by
Deed to Malcom B. Street, Trustee and recorded in Volume
5685 page 803 of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas
and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING, for the Northeast corner of the tract being
described herein at a nail found in a post, said corner
being the Northeast corner of said M. B. Street tract, and
the Northwest corner of a tract shown by Deed to Robert W.
Finklea and recorded in Volume 6768 page 1119 of the Deed
Records of Tarrant County, Texas, said corner also being on
the North line of said Foster Survey;
THENCE South 0 degrees 47 minutes 13 seconds East and
passing an iron pin @ 569.82 feet and continuing for a total
distance of 958.03 feet to an iron pin set in the ground; on
the North line of a tract shown by Deed to James H. Jenkins
and recorded in Volume 6319 page 149 of the Deed Records of
Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE South 89 degrees 50 minutes 27 seconds West with
South line of said Street tract 1308.03 feet to an iron pin
found in the ground; on the East line of Randol Mill Avenue;
THENCE North 0 degrees 00 minutes 05 seconds East with East
line of said road 749.91 feet to an iron pin found in the
ground; for the Southwest corner of a tract shown by deed to
Jerry L. Sutton and recorded in Volume 7343 page 2137 of the
Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE North 89 degrees 52 minutes 24 seconds East with
South line of said Sutton tract 417.15 feet to an iron pin
found in t~e ground;
THENCE North 0 degrees 22 minutes 06 seconds East with West
line of said Sutton tract 206.23 feet to an iron pin found
in the ground; for the Northeast corner of said Sutton
tract, said corner also being on the North line of said
Foster Survey;
THENCE North 89 degrees 42 minutes 16 seconds East with the
North line of said Foster Survey 876.39 feet to the point of
beginning;
WHEREAS, said territory is adjoining the City of Southlake,
and,
WHEREAS, said request by the owners of the above described
tract, desiring and requesting the annexation of said territory
to said city, has been presented to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, a plat of said tract being annexed showing the
location of such land is attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS:
SECTION ONE: that the following described property, to-wit:
WHEREAS, BEING a tract of land in Tarrant County in the
Benjamin J. Foster Survey Abstract Number 519, Tarrant
County, Texas and being more particularly described as
follows: Ail that certain 26.603 acre tract or parcel of

THENCE North 89 degrees 52 minutes 24 seconds East with
South line of said Sutton tract 417.15 feet to an iron pin
found in the ground;
THENCE North 0 degrees 22 minutes 06 seconds East with West
line of said Sutton tract 206.23 feet to an iron pin found
in the ground; for the Northeast corner of said Sutton
tract, said corner also being on the North line of said
Foster Survey;
THENCE North 89 degrees 42 minutes 16 seconds East with the
North line of said Foster Survey 876.39 feet to the point of
beginning;
be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Southlake,
Tarrant County, Texas, and that the boundary limits of the City
of Southlake, be and the same are hereby extended to include the
above-described territory within the city limits of the City of
Southlake, and the same shall hereafter be included within the
territorial limits of said city, and the inhabitants thereof
shall hereafter be entitled to all rights and privileges of other
citizens of the City of Southlake, and they shall be bound by the
acts, ordinances, resolutions and regulations of said city.
SECTION TWO:
That the following described tract or tracts is or are
hereby annexed into the City of Southlake, Texas, as a zoning
district classified as A-1 "Single Family Residential".
SECTION THREE:
That, the official map and boundaries of the City of
Southlake, Texas, as heretofore adopt and amend, be and the same
is hereby amended so as to include the aforedescribed territory
as a part of the City of Southlake, Texas.
SECTION FOUR:
This
into the
described
provision
ordinance is being passed for the pupose of annexing
City of Southlake, Texas, the land or territory
in this ordinance. Should any section, article,
or part of this ordinance be declared to be
unconstitutional and/or void by a Court of competent
jurisdiction, such decision shall in no way affect the validity
of any of the remaining parts of this ordinance, or the
annexation of the territory or land generally if effect can still
be given to such annexation after such Court decision and unless
the part held unconstitutional or void is found to be inseparable
from and indispensable to the operation of the remaining parts.
The City Council declares that it would have passed those parts
of this ordinance which are valid and omitted any parts which may
be unconstitutional if it had known that such parts were
unconstitutional at the time of the passage of this ordinance.
SECTION FIVE:
That this ordinance shall become effective and be in full
force and effect from and after its passage by the City Council,
and approval by the Mayor and duly attested by the City Secretary
of the City of Southlake, Texas, and publication in accordance
with the laws of the State of Texas.
