AN ORDINANCE A~DING ORDINANCE NO. 118 INSOFAR
AS TRAFFIC CflNTRDL SIGNALS (NO PA~ING) A~
~REAS, pursuant to Article 6701d, Bevised Civil Statutes of Texas as
a~ended, and pursuant to traffic studies, investigations and reco~ndations
on the part of the Chief of Police of the City of Southlake, Texas, and after
public hearing held; and the said City Go~mcil finding that pa/king should
~ restricted in the area of and North of North Kimball Avenue and East Dove
Street La the interest of public health, safety and welfare;
NOW ~REFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY q~{E CITY COUNCIL OF ~HE CITY OF

Article
There shall be no parking of motor vehicles at any time
in the West 1/2 of the ri~at of way of North Kimball
Avenue at its intersection with East Dove Street and
North along such West 1/2 of such right-of-way and then
through a curve to the right to the point where North
Kimball Avenue crosses the city limits of Southlake, Texas.
~]e f~]ief of Police is hereby authorized to erect
appropriate sills indicating such no parking area.
B. ~]is ordinance is cumulative of all ordinances pertaining to no
parking areas mid in the event of conflict this ordinance shall control. Should
any section or provision of this ordinance be declared ~aconstitutional and/or
v~id, sud] declaration shall in no way affect ~]e validity of the ren~ining
secti~%s or parts of said ordinance.
C. ~3e penalty for violation of Ordinance 118 of the City of Southlake,
Texas, as a~ended, shall be a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not less than
CNE DOLLAR ($1.00) nor more than NO }K3ND~D DOLLARS ($200.00).
D. The City Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to cause
publication of the descriptive caption and p~nalty clause of this ordinance
as an alternative ~ethed allowed by law, and this ordinance shall become
effective i~mediately ulx~ publication. AND IT IS SO ORDERED.
