WHEREAS, the City C~cil of the City of Southlake, Texas, after
reviewing the use of materials other than copper for wiring and after
hearing i~dations of the official inspector of the City of
Southlake, Texas in sudn connection; d~es find that it is in the best
interest of the general health, welfare ~%d safety of the City that
use of copper aloae be used;
NOW ~{ERE~O~, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
B. Sectic~ 17 of the original Ordinance 211 is hereby repeated-
SECTION 17-P~ALTY FOR VIOLATION: Any person, firm, ~sscciation of
persons, company or corporation or their agents, servants or e~ployees
who violate, disobey, ~nit, neglect or refuse to cc~oly with any
provision of this ordin~ce shall be pllnished by a fine not less than
Ten Eollars ($10.00) nor nDr~ than ~o Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for
each offense. F~ch day that a violation exists is hereby declared to be
a distinct and separate offense and punishable by law.
C. The City Secretary of the City of Southlake, Texas is hereby directed
to publish this an~nd~_nt ~nder the applicable laws but may publJsh only
~]e ca~tion and penalty clause thereof and ~is said ordinance shall tak~
effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
passage and publication as provided by law.
