August 19, 2013 Dear City Secretary and Members of City Council: I am writing in
opposition to the "abandonment" of the pedestrian/equestrian trial on the easement
located along the southern boundary of Lots 10 -17, Block 1, Fox Hollow Addition (as
shown on plat dated July 5, 1996). Over the years, Southlake has shown tremendous
vision by providing an array of recreational opportunities through neighborhood parks,
trails and pathways. The residents along Highland and Shady Oaks Lane have had the
benefit of this neighborhood trail for many years, and it is baffling to understand why
there would now be an effort to close it. Please do not close this recreational trail which
has provided great pleasure to children and adults in this neighborhood. Respectfully,
Julie Landesberg 305 E. Bob Jones Road
