ORDINANCE NO. 106
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION FIVE (5) OF ORDINANCE
NO. 95 AS AMENDED BY ORDINANCE NO. 105, BY ADDING
TO SUB--SECTION "A" THEREOF PARAGRAPH NO. FIFTEEN
(15) READING AS FOLLOWS: (15) STREET SIGNS: IN
ACCORDANCE WITH CITY SPECIFICATIONS SMALL BE FURNISHED
AND CONSTRUCTED BY OWNER OR DEVELOPER AT EACH CORNER
OF EVERY DEDICATED STREET IN SAID SUBDIVISION AS
SHOWN IN PLAT THEREOF. FURTHER PROVIDING THAT ANY
PERSON, FIRM OR CORPORATION VIOLATING ANY OF THE
PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BE DEEMED GUILTY
OF A MISDEMEANOR, AND UPON CONVICTION THEREOF SHALL
BE FINED NOT LESS THAN $ 10.00 NOR MORE THAN $200.00;
EACH DA's SUCH VIOLATION CONTINUES SHALL CONSTITUTE
A SEPARATE AND DISTINCT OFFENSE; AND FURTHER PROVIDING
THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE AND BE IN
FULL FORCE AND EFFECT FROM AND AFTER THE DATE OF ITS
ADOPTION AND PUBLICATION AS BY LAW PROVIDED.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF SOUT11LAKE, TEXAS:
1.
THAT Section Five (5) (Plats and Platting Regulations of
the Town of Southlake, Texas) of Ordinance No. 95 adopted
March 16, 1957: as amended by Ordinance No. 105, adopted July
13, 1957, be amended, by adding to sub-.section "A" of said
section a paragraph identified as fifteen (15), which shall
read as follows:
(15) STREET SIGNS: In accordance with Cities specifications
shall be furnished and constructed by owner or developer at each
corner of every dedicated street and said subdivision as shown
in }flat thereof.
2.
PENALTY
ANY person violating this ordinance or any portion thereof
shall upon conviction be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be
fined not less than $ 10000 nor more than $ 200.00, and each day
that such violation continues shall be considered a separate
offense and punishable accordingly.
