ORDINANCE NO. 98
AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY ADJACENT
AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE TOWN OF SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS; PRO-
VIDING THAT SUCH AREA SHALL BECOME A PART OF SAID TOWN
AND THAT THE OWNERS AND INHABITANTS THEREOF SHALL BE
ENTITLED TO ALL THE PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF
SAID TOWN, AND BE BOUND BY THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES NOW
IN EFFECT AND TO BE HEREINAFTER ADOPTED; FURTHER
PROVIDING FOR AMENDING AND CORRECTING THE OFFICIAL
BOUNDARIES OF SAID TOWN, AS HERETOFORE ADOPTED AS AMENDED,
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts of 1953, 53rd
Legislature, Page 357, Chapter 93, codified as Article 974_G, Revised
Civil Statutes of Texas, Lake.•Vul Development Corporation, a corpora-
tion operating under the Laws of the State of Texas, owner of the
real property hereinafter described, having made application as by
law provided, to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the Town of
Southlake, Texas, a tract of land consisting of acres, more
or less, situated in the T. Easter and Heirs of the A. Foster Surveys,
Tarrant County, Texas, more fully described by metes and bounds as
follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the center line of F. M. 1709 (Keller.-,
Grapevine) Road in the East line of the T. Easter Survey;
THENCE, South 68 degrees 51 minutes East 353.04 feet to a point;
THENCE, South 1 degree 14 minutes West 847.26 feet to a poin ;
THENCE., North 89 degrees 58 minutes Nest 1039.87 feet to a point;
S J THENCE, South 0 degrees 37 minutes West 1513921 feet to a point;
THENCE, North 89 degrees 55 minutes West 594-01 feet to a point;
THENCE,North 0 degrees 17 minutes East 1656.01 feet to a point;
THENCE, North 724•92 feet to a point in the center line of
F. M• 1709 (Keller--Grapevine) Road;
THENCE, in an Easterly direction along the center line of F. M.
1709 (Keller-Grapevine) Road to the place of beginning.
Save and Except that part of said tract that was originally included
within the boundaries of the Town of Southlake, Texas, at time of its
incorporation on Sept. 25, 1956, as shown in plat attached hereto.
A plat of said land showing its location with respect to the Town of
Southlake, Texas, is attached hereto marked EXHIBIT "A".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF SOUTHLAKE,
TEXAS:

THAT, the property owners hereinabove described being adjacent and
contiguous to the Town Limits of Southlake, Texas, be and is hereby
annexed and brought within the Corporate Limits of said Town and is
hereby made an integral part thereof.
