WHEREAS, pursuant to Article 974 of the 1925 Revised Civil
Statutes of Texas, Mrs. T. H. Kasper, Jr. and others, inhabitants of
the area, herein described and ws:io are qualified to vote for members
of the State Legislature, have heretofore filed with the Mayor and
the Board of Aldermen of tine Town of Southlake, Texas, their petition
requesting annexation of tie said area to the Town of Southlaae, Tex,-s,

A tract of land situated in the J. West Survey, Tarrant County, Texas,
and more fully described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINXING in the North line of County i%ad No. 3080 at its intersection

line of County Road No. 3080, same being the Northeast corner o the J.

ITHEREAS, said -petition was accom_I.Danied by an affidavit executed
by Mrs. T. T. Kasper, Jr. and others, inhabitants of the areas described
and wdo are qualified to vote for members of the State Legislature and that
by signing said affidavit certified that said petition contains the
signatures of more tdan fifty percent of the qualified voters residing
in such area wao have voted in favor of having the said area, and the
inhabitants thereof annexed to and become a part of the Town of South-
lake, Texas; and
WHEREAS, it apPearing to the Board of Aldermen of the Town of
Southlake, Texas, that all statutory requirements in connection with
said uroDosed annexation have be:n fulfilled and that the said area
duly grouped into one territory is not more than 1/2 mile in width
and that all of same is adjacent of the present City Limits of the
Town of Southla"le, Texas;
BE IT ORDAINED BY TE BO-".RD OF ALDERMEN OF "'HE 'i OITN' OF SOUTE SLAKE ,
TEXAS:

THE hereinafter described territory lying and adjacent to the
Town of Southlake, Tex,.^s, is hereby annexed and brought within the
Corporate Limits and made an integral part of the Town of Sout lp---e,
Texas, said territory being situated in. Tarrant County, Texas, and being
described by metes an. bounds as follows:
BEGI HlTING in the North line of County Road No. 3080 at its intersection
with the East right of way line of County ?load No. 3123;
T.AiENCE, South alon ; the East right of way line of County Road No. 3123
to the Southwest corner of the J. Kest Survey;
TJE`.CE, East along the South line of the J. West Survey to the South
right of way line of State Highway No. 114;

THENCE, in a SoutnZwesterly direction along the South right of way line
of State Highway 114 to a 7)oint where same intersects the North line of a.
tract of land annexed to the Town of Souttzla'_-e, Texas, pursuant to its
Ordinance No. 34, adopted December 29, 1956;
THENCE, West along the North line of said tract to the far lorthwest

THENCE, South along the East boundary of said. tract to the South right
of way line of County Road No. 3034;

thereof;

the West line of County Road No. 3016;
THENCE, North along the West line of County Road No. 3016 to the North
line of County Ro:d No. 3080, same being the Northeast corner of the J.
nest Survey;
THENCE, West along the North line of County Road No. 3080, the place of
beginning.

THAT the inhabitants of the territory herein annexed to the
Town of Southlake, Texas, shall be entitled to all the rights and
privileges of other citizens and bound by all the acts and ordinances
made in conformity thereto and passed and adopted in pursuant to Title
25, Chapters 1 to 10 inclusive, ?evised Civil Statutes of Texas.
3.
THE official map and boundaries of the Town of Southlake, Texas,
to be corrected anj amended so as to include the aforementioned des-
cribed territory as part of said Town.
