ORDINANCE NO. 58
AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING AND ANNEXING TERRITORY
ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE TOWN OF SOUTHLAKE,
TEXAS; PROVIDING THAT SUCH AREA SHALL BECOME A
PART OF SAID TOWN AND THAT THE OWNERS AND IN-
HABITANTS THEREOF SHALL BE ENTITLED TO ALL THE
PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS OF SAID TOWN, AND
BE BOUND BY THE ACTS AND ORDINANCES NOW IN EFFECT
AND TO BE HEREINAFTER ADOPTED; FURTHER PROVIDING
FOR AMENDING AND CORRECTING THE OFFICIAL BOUNDARIES
OF SAID TOWN AS HERETOFORE ADOPTED AS AMENDED, AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts of 1953, 53rd
Legislature, Page 357, Chapter 93, codified as Article 974.4G, Revised
Civil Statutes of Texas, George H.Harmon and wife, Leona F. Harmon,
of Tarrant County, Texas, owners of the real property hereinafter des.-4
cribed, having made application as by law provided to the Mayor and
Board of Aldermen of the Town of Southlake, Texas, a tract of land
consisting of acres, more or less., situated in the B. J,
Foster and W. R,. Eaves Surveys, Tarrant County, Texas, more fully
described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point, same being the Northwest corner
of the W. R. Eaves Survey and the Southwest corner of the B. J.
Foster Survey;
THENCE, North along the West line of the B. J. Foster
Survey 356 varas to a point for corner;
THENCE, East in a line parallel to the South line of
the said Foster Survey to the Southwest corner of a 60 acre
tract as described in Volume 2094, Page 39, Deed Records, Tarrant
County, Texas, 570,2 varas from the East line of the B. J. Foster
Survey;
THENCE, North along the West line of the said 60 acre
tract 594.2 varas to the Northwest corner thereof;
THENCE, East along the North line of the said 60 acre
tract 570.2 varas for its Northeast corner in the East line of
the B. J. Foster Survey;
THENCE, South along the East line of the said B. J.
Foster Survey 594 varas to the Southeast corner of the said 60
acre tract and continuing South along the said East line 356
varas to the South right of way line of F. M. Road No-1709;
THENCE, West along the South right of way line of said
F. M. Road No. 1709 to a point where same turns in more or less
a Southwesterly direction, and following along the said South
right of way line of said road to the West line of the
W. R. Eaves Survey;
