John Robinson of the Amon Carter Foundation is a sponsor of Ms. Gale. $38,000 is
needed for a feasibility study. Mr. Robinson has committed $18,000 toward the study.
SSFI has a list of eight additional potential donors to contact for possible funding of

Simmons, developer of Watermere, told Mr. McCauley his original quote from two years
ago of $4.9- $5million for a 20,000 sq. ft. center, if construction started in a couple of
years, would now be in the $5.6 -$5.8 million range due to inflation. SSFI back up plan is
to seek funds in excess of $2.75million to take to City Council for matching funds. Staff
