Call to order The meeting was called to order by Ron Evans at 6:01 p.m. Agenda Item No. 2. Introduction of new SPIN Standing Committee members. Ron Evans introduced Jeffrey Medici for SPIN 3, Rob Baker for SPIN 1 and Juliet Williams for SPIN 6. Official Meeting Minutes: SPIN Standing Committee Meeting — October 11, 2011 Page 1 of 3 Agenda Item No. 3. Approval of the minutes — September 13, 2011 SPIN Standing Committee Meeting. A motion was made to approve the minutes as presented. Motion: Monique Schill Second: Lou Hillman Ayes: 7 Nays: 0 Approved: 7 - 0 Agenda Item No. 4. Tourism Program Overview. Jill Lind discussed the attached presentation. Agenda Item No. 5. Administrative Comments • Upcoming SPIN Meetings: Alison provided the attached list of meetings from the website. Agenda Item No. 6. City Manager's Report Citizen survey will kickoff in November. Agenda Item No. 7. SPIN Neighborhood Reports SPIN 1: Rob said has not heard of any problems with traffic at new School. Ron Evans hosted meeting regarding Verizon expansion. Neighbors want to make sure wall hiding tanks and generator is 20' tall, and access is limited to Dove. SPIN 2: David said development of the property next to CMS on Dove is on hold because the residents are demanding 1 acre lots as it is zoned. SPIN 3: Jeffrey said a 4 acre property at Dove and Carroll wants access to Carroll thru Triple C ranch because it is east of it. Lou discussed with neighbors and did not hear of any big issues. SPIN 4: Lou said Kimball construction still causing delays. SPIN 5: Barbara said neighbors have asked when sidewalks will come down Randol Mill, and is concerned about traffic coming from Dove. The owner of the house at Randol Mill and Precinct contacted her because trees were cut. Barbara said the City Council is aware of this. Dove Road cyclists are not obeying posted traffic signs. SPIN 6: Not present. SPIN 7: Vic hosted meeting for Forrest Park Medical Center on Hwy 114. SPIN 8: Not present. SPIN 9: Ray has a meeting Monday regarding 46 acres for 74 homes and asks that we have good attendance. Density 1.5 per acre with open space. SPIN 10: Ron (see SPIN 1 update). Last night hosted meeting regarding pergola in Stone Lakes playground. No issues. SPIN 11: Monique said median at Watermere not properly draining. She has discussed with Bob Price and will call again. She said medians had hurt business because of access. Upcoming meeting on 10/24 for 4 buildings on Davis. Discussion on Future Agenda Items There was no discussion. Ron Evans explained the purpose of this agenda item for the new members. Agenda Item No. 9.
