The first step in the SPIN Meeting process is to speak with the SPIN Representative who will then make a recommendation on whether or not a meeting is needed. Your project is located in SPIN #1 whose representative is Rob Baker. You can reach him at 214-608- 3104. Mr. Baker will speak with you about your project and then make a meeting recommendation. Following that recommendation, if you wish to schedule a meeting, please fill out 1 and return the attached SPIN meeting request form prior to the submittal deadline for your desired SPIN meeting date. Please note that I cannot schedule a meeting without a recommendation from the SPIN Representative. Subject: FW: SPIN Meeting inquiry Ms. Ortowski, Per your email correspondence with Patrick Palacios of CDM Smith, on behalf of the Trinity River Authority of Texas (TRA), Gupta and Associates/CDM Smith (TRA’s project consultant) is providing the following information related to the TRA Denton Creek Regional System – Kirkwood & Cade Branch Lift Stations, and Schooling Road Drop Manhole Improvements Project for coordination with the neighborhood SPIN representative. This TRA project includes work at five existing TRA wastewater conveyance facilities. One facility, the Kirkwood Lift Station, is located within the City of Southlake. The remaining four facilities included in the project are located in the Cities of Westlake and Roanoke. Kirkwood Lift Station Proposed Work Summary: 2 Site Address: 3200 North White Chapel Boulevard, Southlake, Texas 76092. The project includes the rehabilitation of TRA’s existing Kirkwood (sewage) Lift Station. Improvements are intended to improve electrical service reliability and safety, ease of maintenance, and overall site appearance. The major proposed items of work on the project include:  Installation of an approximately 55-foot by 15-foot single-story, off-site/factory-constructed electrical building.  Installation of an approximately 35-foot by 12-foot emergency/standby power generator with outdoor enclosure and foundation slab.  Removal of the existing outdoor electrical facilities and replacement within the new electrical enclosure building.  Removal of the existing 25-foot by 12-foot canopy cover and columns over the existing electrical facilities to be removed.  Construction of steel frame monorail hoist over the existing pump wet well to allow for sewage pump removal without use of a mobile crane.  Replacement of concrete pavement removed for construction of the above, to current pavement limits.  Installation of a new 10-foot by 10-foot below-grade concrete flow meter vault.  Removal of the existing and replacement of 8-foot high chain link fencing with new 8-foot high wrought iron fence with cedar pickets and one strand upper barb wire. We are in the process of preparing the Concept Plan/Site Plan/Development Plan Application and Traffic Impact Analysis submittals for formal City review.
