Background Information: The adopted Capital Improvements Program (CIP) includes funds for the construction of the T.W. The project consists of approximately 19,665 linear feet of 30 -inch water line on West T.W. King Road in Southlake, which continues northwest on the south side of SH114. The line turns south on FM1938 and continues south to connect to the existing line in Florence Road. The project also includes approximately 3,400 linear feet of 12 -inch water line from north of Beam Drive to Florence Road, parallel to the 30 -inch water line. Change Order No. 5 is for an additional 745 linear feet of tunneling of the 30 -inch water line due to changes in subsurface conditions determined during the installation of pipe by open cut after construction began.
