Carroll Ave. Read the slide This is an aerial view of the property. The Carillon Chateaux District is outlined in red. PROPOSED CHANGES • A street is removed to minimize cut- through traffic to N. Carroll Avenue. • Combine the Neighborhood Park and Tree Preserve and increase the park space (added 1.2 acres of open space). • Convert approximately thirty -seven (37) of the 90' lots to larger 100' lots. Three changes are proposed to the Chateaux District. 1. A street is removed to minimize cut - through traffic to N. Carroll Avenue. 2. The Neighborhood Park and Tree Preserve are combined, which adds 1.2 acres of open space. 3. The blue dotted lines show the layout on the currently approved preliminary plat. The four lots outlined in yellow are being relocated to the east, which along with the elimination of two street connections, allows the Tree Preserve and Neighborhood Park to be combined into one larger open space area. This reconfiguration provides an additional 1.2 acres of open space. Access points are being relocated as is pointed out by the arrows and 37 of the 90' wide lots are being converted to 100' lots. An extra street stub in the center of the district has been removed, but the pedestrian access remains for the multi -use trail shown in the Pathways Plan and the Carillon Zoning booklet. 7 This is the northern portion of the revised preliminary plat.
