Development Details The DRS Group LLC, on behalf of Colt Aviation, is requesting approval of a Site Plan, the proposed plan would allow a new 5,987 square foot single story office/ warehouse building. The office will be approximately 2,059 square feet and the warehouse will be approximately 3,876 square feet, and will be used for the storage of aviation equipment not to include combustible materials. The applicant stated the business was for selling and distributing aviation parts. We have four (4) employees and eleven (11) parking spots. That enables us to Î keep a lot of the green space that you see on the plan. What about deliveries? We rarely have truck deliveries. Our deliveries mainly come by UPS and FedEx. Î ? Yes, we are building from scratch. Î Do you have plans for expansion? No. Down the road we might want to build a single story garage to store some of Î our large equipment, however, we have no plans. What happened at the P&Z meeting? We were approved. They did recommend I escrow funds for future sidewalk Î construction. I do not agree that a sidewalk is necessary at this location. It is a sidewalk to nowhere and the ZBA ruled No Sidewalk. (ZBA625, July 12, 2012) Where are you located now? Next to Elite Pet Suites on Continental. We are leasing multiple buildings Î because we need more space. This new location will enable us to have everything in one building and improve efficiency. You said you supply to military and commercial aviation? Yes Î What kind of products? Engine parts; pumps, valves, starters, etc. Î Do you do any repair work? No Î Most all of our business is for foreign international Australian military How long have you been in this business? 6 years Î Is someone manning the office 24/7?
