Plans completed with City Council/Committee
participation
On Average 1 to 2 Committee Meetings per month
No meetings in July or around the holidays
City Council has gone “beyond the call of duty”
Both staff and Council have a desire to expedite and
complete the 2030 process
Discussion
Allow staff to develop more completed (finished product) plan elements resulting in fewer committee meetings
The 2030 committees would still review and have approval of documents prior to SPIN and public hearing processes
Approach would be used for the remaining plan elements
(Mobility, Water Conservation, Sustainability, and Community)
Staff can provide periodic updates to Council on the status of the plans if needed
