M WHAT: Permit for "Winter Arts in Town Hall" Exhibit and Gallery Reception WHEN: February 17, 2013, 3 -5pm (Reception) February 17 — AIS weekend April 2013 (Exhibit) WHERE: Town Hall Lobby WHO: Sponsored by • Southlake Arts Council • APEX Arts League ` Art In the Square • City of Southlake Public Library Review of Permit details 5 • Benefits to citizens: — "Winter Arts in Town Hall" exhibition • Art work from local & regional artists on display in lobby area for public to enjoy • Preview of art work to be enjoyed at the upcoming Art In the Square festival in Town Square — Not fundraiser event but may publicize and market the Art In The Square annual festival r Review of Permit — Benefits to citizens 0 "Winter Arts in Town Hall" Exhibit Wall Space Plan • This exhibition will take up no floor space and the art pieces will be hung in the panel areas • Art will be placed based on size of the piece and aesthetic concerns related to color and composition The exhibition will require less than 30% of the lobby wall space. Art work will be hung on walls using the same display system used for last year's exhibit. 7 Gallery Reception Floor Space Plan Chairs and tables will be set up Sunday afternoon and removed after the performance ■• • • • 0 0 0 • O Performers • H alr • • C irs • 0 fl • • • ■ The reception will be similar to the reception held last year with tables and chairs set up to allow ample floor space for refreshment tables, entertainment area, guests to mingle, and clear access to doorways.
