Childress Survey. 1 The requested action for this item is to adopt an ordinance to abandon an unused easement in the John H. Childress Survey within the Dove Estates Addition. 2 The DoveEstates Addition is located in the northern section of Southlake, east of N.Carroll Avenue along Burney Lane. 3 The 0.224 Acre easementto be abandoned is located on Lot 58, Block 2 of the platted subdivision known as the Dove Estates Addition. The easement was recorded on October 26, 1983 in the Tarrant County Records Volume 7651, Page 1915. The easement was granted to the City of Southlake for the purpose of placing a septic system to serve Lot 57. The easement was to be abandoned by the City upon the successful completion of a sanitary sewer system in the addition. This easement was never abandoned with the completion of the sanitary sewer system. By abandoning this easement future property transactions will be simplified. 4 Currently,Dove Estates is served by the City of Southlake’s sanitarysewer system which was completed in 1983.
