Renew Janitorial Contract with Regent Services
1
Staff recommends that the city council renew the annual contract for janitorial
services to Regent Services in the amount of $148,652
2
The Facility Services division is responsible for the maintenance of all the buildings
owned and operated by the City of Southlake. A part of that responsibility is
managing the janitorial services contract for all city facilities. Last year staff
recommended a change in janitorial service contractors in order to better manage
costs. Through an interlocal agreement with the City of Coppell, Regent Services
presented Southlake the proposal for janitorial services at a substantial savings.
They have offered to renew that contract with no increase in the cost per square
foot.

Thisslide represents the flat rate contract pricing offered under the Coppell contract
with Regent Services.
4
The only change from last year is the addition of the “lodge building” under
Community Services and the addiitionof the Tennis Center. Funding for this
contract is provided in the operating budget for the Facility Service division
5
Therenewal of this agreement links to the city’s strategy map relative to the focus
areas of Performance Management and Service Delivery. The specific corporate
objective that is met by the agreement is: Improve performance of delivery and
operational processes
