PUBLIC 92 HEARING 93 94 Commissioner Springer asked about the fence requirements regarding height. 95 96 Mr. Cortez and Mr. Killough stated that there are no city regulations regarding the fence height 97 for daycare or school use. 98 99 George and Cathy Craft of 14 Alamosa Dr., Trophy Club 76262 came forward with Candice 100 Decker. 101 Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes — February 9, 2012 Page 2 of 5 r 102 Mrs. Craft stated that the fence height is sufficient based on state requirements. 103 104 Commissioner Parrish asked the applicant where they were in the licensing procedure and how 105 long is the process? 106 107 Mrs. Craft stated that they have to have a facility before their application could move in further. 108 However, the process generally takes 2 to 4 weeks. 109 110 Commissioner Hudson asked about meals being served. 111 112 Mrs. Craft stated that all students will bring their own lunches. 113 114 Commissioner Hudson asked about the program in regards to 2 half days or full days. 115 116 Mrs. Craft stated the hours of operation for half days being 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and the full 117 day student hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Mrs. Craft continued to state that if desired by the 118 parents, the facility is looking at before and after care along with summer programs. 119 120 Commissioner Williamson asked if the extended care would be open to children other than 121 students. 122 123 Mrs. Craft stated that the care would only be for enrolled students only. 124 125 Commissioner Springer asked about transportation for the students and if buses would be 126 provided. 127 128 Mrs. Craft stated that all transportation would be provided by the parents only. 129 130 Chairman Faglie opened and closed the public hearing. 131 132 Commissioner Hudson and Commissioner Parrish questioned the occupancy levels along with 133 the kid to adult ratio. 134 135 Mr. Craft stated that once the occupancy levels are met, they will start looking for a larger 136 building or build their own site on property already zoned for school use.
