CONSENT AGENDA
All items listed below are considered to be routine by the City
Council and will be enacted with one motion. There will be no
separate discussion of items unless a Council member or citizen
so requests, in which event, the item will be removed from the
general order of business and considered in its normal sequence.
5. Consider: Ordinance No. 478. 1st reading. Abandonment
of a portion of a Utility Easement on Lot 9,
Block 1, Rainforest Addition.
6. Consider: Resolution 89 -13. Authorizing the City Manager
to execute the renewal agreement for Janitorial
Services for City facilities.
7. Consider: Resolution 89 -14. Renaming State Highway 114
through the city limits to Gibson D. Lewis Park-
, way.

plan.
16. Consider: Request for variance to the Sign Ordinance. Request

17. Discussion: Request for an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance.

19. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to the Open Meetings Law,
Article 6252 -17 Section 2E, under the provision
dealing with Litigation and Personnel. (Refer to
the posted list of Personnel and Litigations).

B. Discussion: Appointment to any Board or Commission.

EXECUTIVE SESSION
(PERSONNEL)
The City Council may consider the appointment, employment,
reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of the City Manager,
City Attorney, Municipal Court Judge, City Secretary, and City
Boards and Commission Members. A complete list of the City Boards
and Commissioners are on file in the City Secretary's Office.
After discussion of the appointment and evaluation of the Council
Appointees • and the Board and Commission members, in executive session,
any final action or vote taken will be in public.
(LITIGATION)
The City Council may consider pending and contemplated litigation
subjects. The following subjects may be discussed:
1. Jerry W. Crowder vs. City of Southlake
2. Billie N. Farrar vs. City of Southlake
3. Swift et. al. vs Lemke and City of Southlake
4. Douglas E. Findlay vs R.E. Robinson, City of Southlake,
Tarrant County, State Department of Highways and Public
Transportation.
5. Ray L. Whitmore, Louis Messina and Marie J. Robinson vs.
City of Southlake
6. Walter D. Garrett et. al. vs. City of Southlake
Pending Litigation
7. City of Fort Worth, City of Keller, City of Southlake
Water Contract.
Litigation is, by its nature, an on -going process, and questions
may arise as to trial tactics which need to be explained to the City
Council. Upon occasion, the City Council may need information from the
City Attorney as to the status of the pending or contemplated litigation
subjects set out above. After discussion of the pending and contemplates
litigation subjects, in executive session, any final action, or vote
taken, will be in public.
If personnel issues o- litigation issues arise as to the posted
subject matter of this City Council Meeting, an executive session will
be held.
