CONSENT AGENDA
All items listed below are considered to be routine by the City Council
and will be enacted with one motion. There will be no separate
discussion of items unless a Council Member or citizen so requests, in
which event the item will be removed fran the general order of business
and considered in its normal sequence.
5. Consider: Ordinance No. 447, 1st reading. Traffic Control
Devises.
6. Consider: Resolution 89 -11. Calling the Municipal Election for
May 6, 1989.

11. Consider: ZA 88 -39. Preliminary plat for the Chimney Hill

12. Consider: Ordinance No. 472. An ordinance amending Ordinance
No. 334, as amended, the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance
of the City of Southlake. Providing that all land
which is not otherwise covered by a zoning classifica-
tion under Ordinance No. 334 be zoned as Agricultural.
13. Consider: Lease- Purchase of a back -hoe for the Water Department,
or request permission to advertise for bids.
14. Consider: Authorizing the expenditure funds for engineering
services agreement with TRA.
15. Consider: Request for a variance to the Administrative Freeze for
a building permit to add a carport to a single family
residence for Don Light, 200 Westwood Drive, Southlake.
16. Public Forum.
17. Executive Session: Pursuant to the Open Meetings Law, Article
6252 -17 2E, under the provision dealing with litiga-
tions and Personnel. (Refer to the posted list of

The City Council may consider the appointment, employment,
reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of the City Manager,
City Attorney, Municipal Court Judge, City Secretary, and City
Boards and Commission Members. A complete list of the City Boards
and Commissioners are on file in the City Secretary's Office.
After discussion of the appointment and evaluation of the
Council Appointees and the Board and Commission members, in
executive session, any final action or vote taken will be in public.
(LITIGATION)
The City Council may consider pending and contemplated
litigation subjects. The following subjects may be discussed:
1. Jerry W. Crowder vs City of Southlake
2. Billie N. Farrar vs. City of Southlake
3. Swift et al vs Lemke and City of Southlake
4. Douglas E. Findlay vs R.E. Robinson, City of Southlake,
Tarrant County, and State Department of Highways and
Public Transportation
5. Ray L. Whitmore, Louis Messina, and Marie J. Robinson vs
City of Southlake
6. Walter D. Garret et al vs City of Southlake
Pending Litigation
7. City of Fort Worth, City of Keller, and City of
Southlake-- Water_ontract
Litigation is, by its nature, an on -going process, and
questions may arise as to trial tactics which need to be explained
to the City Council. Upon occasion, the City Council may need
information from the City Attorney as to the status of the pending -
or contemplated litigation subjects set out above. After
discussion of the pending and contemplated litigation subjects, in
executive session, any final action or vote taken will be in public.
If personnel issues or litigation issues arise as to the
posted subject matter of this City Council Meeting, an executive
session will be held.
