32 Contracts will be signed by the artists within the next month. Artists will bring their final
33 concept plan for consideration by the Southlake Arts Council and approval by the City
34 Council.

41 Arts Council approved the sale of deaccessioned longhorn to Gary Fickes. Arts Council
42 will be advised with regard to final selling price to Mr. Fickes

1 Agenda Item No. 313 - Discussion. - Process for developing an art/artists selection
2 committee or other method for choosing art/artists for public art projects

4 Review of various methods to develop a process for art/artists selections. Most
5 members agreed that we needed to come up with an electronic method, with a rating
6 scale in order to get as much citizen input as possible to help with this phase of the
7 selection process.

9 Agenda Item No. 3C - Discussion. - Process for Art to be displayed in Town hall or
10 other City of Southlake facilities.

12 Deputy Director McGeath spoke about the possibilities for displaying public art in Town
13 Hall, and that the city is currently working on revising the policies regarding said display
14 opportunities.

23 Several meetings will be set up with the Masterplan subgroup this spring - we are
24 shooting for completion in the fall of 2009
