a ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS MEETING
January 16,1979 CASE # 8
7:30 p.m.
The meeting was called to order by Mrs. Mary Dorsett in the absence
of the chairman, Colon Sweet.

The city council of the City of Southlake, passed Resolution No. 79-1
allowing for alternate persons to serve on the Zoning Board of
Adjustments. Also appointing L.A. Casey, to serve as vice chairman,
of the board. To serve in the absence of Colon Sweet, chairman.
Resolution 79-1, attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Agenda Item I. Dwaine Petty requesting variance to the Zoning
Ordinance No. 161, claiming hardship as grounds
for appeal.Request is to put a mobile home on
his property while building a home to replace
the one that burnt to the ground on December 12,1978.
Mr. Dwaine Petty Sr. and Mr. Dwaine Petty Jr. were present at the
meeting and presented their case.
After discussion, the zoning board voted to grant a six (6) months
or less deviation to allow Petty's to move in a mobile home to the
site of the farm house for the express purpose of convenience while
building a permanent residence. After six (6) months, return for a
six month renewal, showing good faith in building said residence.
The deviation will run for a 12 month period to be divided in any
rt screment suitable. After the 12 month period the deviation permit
will expire, and the Petty's will have to reappear for further
w consideration.
Being no further business, the meeting was adjourned by acting chairman
Mary Dorsett.
