NAME OF COMMISSIONER PAGE: 1 INDEX MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairperson; Wade Booker, Vice-Chairperson; Eleanor Kasper, Bill Peck, alternate, Loyd Eubanks. MEMBERS ABSENT: Fred Merrell, R.G. .r Lyford. Alternate, Ralph Evans. The Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as presented. Case #30. The request for variance to Sign Ordinance No. 161-68 and No. 161-70. Request $is made of Bright Sign Company for Gulf Oil Company. rlw► Mr. John Hayes and Barry Franklin were present representing Bright Sign Company. They are requesting a variance from the 25' sign height as spelled out in the ordinance. After discussion, it was determined that an opinion as to the interpreta- tion of the ordinances will need to be obtained from the City Attorney. After discussion, motion was made + Booker x and approved that the opinion of the Kasper x x city attorney wd:uld determine the w Peck x x answer from the Board of Adjustments, j Eubanks x and that when the opinion was given the City Secretary would notify the Bright Sign Company as soon as possible.
