The Minutes of the previous meeting
were approved as presented.
Case #30. The request for variance
to Sign Ordinance No. 161-68 and No.
161-70. Request $is made of Bright
Sign Company for Gulf Oil Company.

Mr. John Hayes and Barry Franklin
were present representing Bright
Sign Company. They are requesting
a variance from the 25' sign height
as spelled out in the ordinance.
After discussion, it was determined
that an opinion as to the interpreta-
tion of the ordinances will need to
be obtained from the City Attorney.
After discussion, motion was made
+ Booker x and approved that the opinion of the
Kasper x x city attorney wd:uld determine the
w Peck x x answer from the Board of Adjustments,
j Eubanks x and that when the opinion was given
the City Secretary would notify the
Bright Sign Company as soon as possible.
During the public hearing, Hugh Brown;
owner of the Dairy Queen was present
and spoke in favor of the request.
The meeting was adjourned by Booker.
