CONSENT AGENDA
All items listed below are considered to be routine by the City
Council and will be enacted with one motion. There will be no
separate discussion of items unless a Council member or citizen
so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the
general order of business and considered in its normal sequence.
5. Consider: Ordinance No. 468. 1st reading. Adopting the
Uniform Mechanical Code 1988 Edition.
6. Consider: Ordinance No. 469. 1st reading. Adopting the
Uniform Building Code 1988 Edition.
7. Consider: Ordinance No. 470. 1st reading. Adopting the
Uniform Fire Code 1988 Edition.
8. Consider: Ordinance No. 471. 1st reading. Adopting the
Uniform Plumbing Code 1988 Edition.
9. Consider: Ordinance No. 474. 1st reading. Adopting the
Uniform Administrative Code 1988 Edition.
10. Consider: Ordinance No. 475. 1st reading. Adopting the
Standard Specification for Public Works
Construction.
11. Consider: Resolution 89 -06. Accepting the dedication of a
public street and right -of -way within the city
limits of the City of Southlake.

14. Consider: Resolution 88 -108. Establishing a street
priority list and authorizing the City Manager
to enter into negotiations with Tarrant County
for street repairs.
15. Consider: Resolution 89 -01. Appointment to C.O.N.E.T.
16. Consider: Resolution 89 -02. Appointment to Southlake
Economic Development Council.
17. Consider: Resolution 89 -03. Appointment to Park and
Recreation Board.
18. Consider: Resolution 89 -04. Appointment to Southake-
Trophy Club Merger Study Committee.
19. Consider: Resolution 89 -05. Adopting a moritorium on the
use of properties which have not yet been reclas-
sified.

21. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to the Open Meetings Law, Article
6252 -17 Section 2E, under the provision dealing
with litigations. (Refer to posted list of
litigations).

EXECUTIVE SESSION
(PERSONNEL)
The City Council may consider the appointment, employment,
reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of the City Manager,
City Attorney, Municipal Court Judge, City Secretary, and City
Boards and Commission Members. A complete list of the City Boards
and Commissioners are on file in the City Secretary's Office.
After discussion of the appointment and evaluation of the Council
Appointees and the Board and Commission members, in executive session,
any final action or vote taken will be in public.
(LITIGATION)
The City Council may consider pending and contemplated litigation
subjects. The following subjects may be discussed:
1. Jerry W. Crowder vs. City of Southlake
2. Billie N. Farrar vs. City of Southlake
3. Swift et. al. vs Lemke and City of Southlake
4. Douglas E. Findlay vs R.E. Robinson, City of Southlake,
Tarrant County, State Department of Highways and Public
Transportation.
5. Ray L. Whitmore, Louis Messina and Marie J. Robinson vs.
City of Southlake
6. Walter D. Garrett et. al. vs. City of Southlake
Pending Litigation
7. City of Fort Worth, City of Keller, City of Southlake
Water Contract.
Litigation is, by its nature, an on -going process, and questions
may arise as to trial tactics which need to be explained to the City
Council. Upon occasion, the City Council may need information from the
City Attorney as to the status of the pending or contemplated litigation
subjects set out above. After discussion of the pending and contemplated
litigation subjects, in executive session, any final action, or vote
taken, will be in public.
If personnel issues or litigation issues arise as to the posted
subject matter of this City Council Meeting, an executive session will
be held.
